10 new biogas plants to be built in Delhi

According to Energy Infra Post, India’s capital Delhi has plans for setting up 10 biomethanation facilities across the city. The plants are expected to generate electricity to be fed into the grid as well as enriched organic manure from waste. South Delhi Municipal Corporation will serve as nodal agency for the project. As further stated, North Delhi Municipal corporation plans to build four units with a 5 tpd capacity each. South corporation will also set up four facilities, and two plants will be built in East Delhi.
