10 WtE plants shall be operational in Andhra Pradesh by March 2018

According to Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, 10 WtE projects, which are currently being implemented, shall be operational by the end of March 2018. This plan concerns projects in the following locations: Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Tadepalligudem, Gudivada, Guntur, Nellore, Tirupati, Kurnool, Kadapa and Anantapur, as reported by The Hindu. The facilities shall have a combined intake capacity of around 4,517tpd of waste (1,445,440tpy). Moreover, a total of 63MW of power could be generated at these sites in the future.
