The state-level committee of Uttar Pradesh has approved 12 proposed biogas and biodiesel production facilities. The approved facilities should process agricultural waste and produce 93 tpd of CBG and 44 kilo litres of biodiesel daily.
The state is targeting a production of 1,000 tpd of CBG and 2,000 kl of biodiesel. The 12 proposals are worth INR 5.5 billion (EUR 62.54 million). It was also announced that construction has begun on 13 previously approved AD facilities.
