4 AD plants proposed for Gurgaon

The Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG), Haryana, has initiated plans to process the city’s waste in order to produce electricity. It is envisaged to install 4 AD plants with a combined capacity of up to 66 tpd. The plants will process animal, vegetable and household waste and each of them will have an approximate electrical output of 500 kW. Information on the projects, costs and the duration of installation remained undisclosed.
