Uttarakhand Environment and Solid Waste Management minister Harak Singh Rawat said that biomedical waste is being disposed as per guidelines issued by the Centre on March 16, 2020.
From March 2020 to February 15, 2021, a total of 811 metric ton of biomedical waste was generated at the various hospitals, Covid-19 care centres, and quarantine centres in the state.
