Editor According to media reports, the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) has already finalised on a bidder for its WtE project: consortium Spaak Bresson Private Limited (SBPL). SBPL consists of Czech company Bresson Energy, Dubai-based MGT Group and Indian firm SPAAK Private Limited. However, the project is heavily delayed as the state Power Development Department (PDD) of Jammu and Kashmir has not been willing to sign a Power Purchasing Agreement (PPA) so far. The WtE project developed is under a Design, Finance, Build, Own, Operate & Transfer (DFBOOT) scheme with a contract period of 25 years. This was reported by the Kashmir Monitor.
