AG Dauters gets approval for Patna WtE plant construction

Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) has approved the proposal of AG Dauters to establish a WtE plant at Ramachak Bairiya on Patna-Gaya road. According to The Times of India, the plant will utilise plasma gasification technology to process solid waste into electricity, biodiesel and water. Around 700 tonnes of fresh waste and 300 tonnes of old waste will be collected and processed daily. AG Dauters is urrently waiting to sign the concession agreement with PMC. The plant will be constructed with an investment of about INR 3,200 crores.
