Bawana WtE plant to be operational in June

According to project developer Ramky Group, the Narela Bawana WtE plant in North West Delhi might start operations in June, The Hindu reports. Ramky is developing the plant on behalf of the North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC). However, an operating consent from the Delhi Pollution Control Committee has not yet been awarded. The facility is planned to treat around 1,300 tpd of waste to generate 24 MWel. The main input is RDF, which will be produced at the same site. The RDF line was indicated to be operational already.
