BBMP to beautify 100 blackspots in city

In an attempt to better Bengaluru’s ranking in Swachh Survekshan 2021 survey, the BBMP’s Solid Waste Management (SWM) Department will attempt to beautify 100 black spots in Bengaluru, within 45 days.

“As a part of #swachhsurvekshan 2021, the BBMP #Clean100Campaign aims to eliminate 100 large garbage spots across Bengaluru in the next 45 days,” said BBMP Special Commissioner (Solid Waste Management) Randeep D.

The method of selection of the 100 spots involves the participation of MLAs, ward SWM teams, and volunteers to finalize a list of four to five spots, per constituency, reports Bangalore Mirror.
