Biogas plant to be set up in Dehradun

The Municipal Corporation of Dehradun (MCD), Uttarakhand, is currently planning to set up a new agricultural biogas plant in the city. The MCD is in talks with the Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), according to The Pioneer.

The proposed facility is supposed to handle the entire amount of cowdung from dairies in Dehradun. Plant development is expected to take at least 4 to 6 months.
