C&D waste recycling plant planned for Karnaktaka

The Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) is going to set up a Construction and Demolition of Waste Processing Plant (CDWP) in Karnataka. The facility will cost around USD 870,000 and is planned in collaboration with the Department of Mines and Geology. Chemicals should be applied as waste material to produce bricks, sand, kerbstone, concrete mix, cement tiles and cement bricks. The facility will convert the 50 to 57 tons of waste that cannot be disposed of in the region. This was reported by ET Realty.
