Cerebra partners with Hyundai on solar module recycling

India-based Cerebra Integrated Technologies Limited has signed a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with Hyundai Corporation recently for PV Solar module recycling in India.

With this agreement, Hyundai is expected to contribute its expertise in solar PV recycling to Cerebra. As further announced, solar PV modules and cells recycling has been added to India’s new e-waste management rules which will be implemented from 1 April 2023.

Moreover, as further stated, India “will perhaps be the second after the European Union” to implement a national policy on solar waste management.
