Editor The Chandigarh Municipal Corporation (CMC) is apparently planning to set up a WtE facility with a treatment capacity of 400 tpd, The Indian Express reports.. As said, the new facility is supposed to be built at the site of an existing RDF facility operated by firm JP Group. However, a JP representative stated not to be aware of the decision to dismantle the current plant. Nevertheless, CMC has already called for Expressions Of Interest (EOIs) by companies willing to participate in the project.
