Chandigarh civic officials to visit Pune for a second time

Chandigarh civic authorities are planning a visit to Pune to finalise the technology to be used in the setting up a waste processing plant in the city. Interestingly, the Chandigarh officials have already undertaken a study tour in the city and are keen to learn more about a waste to energy project in the city.

The team had also visited Ambala and Nasik earlier, but the result was inconclusive.

Prior to this, study tours have been made to various cities but the civic body is unable to finalise what technology is to be used for waste processing in the city, reports The Indian Express.
