The local Municipal Corporation (MC) of Chandigarh has paired with National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) to sell refuse-derived fuel (RDF) generated at the RDF plant in Dadu Majra, as Tribune India reported. The RDF plant is now being operated by NK Bhora after the municipal corporation had terminated its contract with Jaypee group. The site also includes a composting facility and has been operational since 2008.
