CII’s virtual Waste to Worth Conference begins


Effective management of waste will not only improve the public health and environment but enhance the quality of life by generating jobs, creation of new products generate energy, finally leading to a Swachh, Swasth, Sashakt, Sampann and Atmanirbhar Bharat.   

Towards encouraging the better waste management across the country, CII since 2016 has been working towards policy and practices of waste management that combines protection of the environment and human health. 

To take these efforts further, Confederation of India Industry (CII) is organizing its yearly Conference on Waste to Worth on 16-17 November 2021 in association with the Office of the PSA and supported by the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, GoI and Ministry of Environment & Forest & Climate Change, GoI. The Republic of Poland is the Guest Country for the conference.

The theme of the 2021 conference is ‘Moving towards a Circular Economy through innovative 3R approaches’. Considering the current scenario, the conference along with digital exhibition would be organized in virtual platform   

The objective of the conference is to bring together Indian industry, technology providers, investors and waste management companies, both National and International on single platform to deliberate on innovative technological solutions towards keeping India clean in a sustainable manner and to encourage the adoption of 3R practices.   

The Conference begins at 11.30 am today with an inaugural session where the winners of the 3R Awards will be announced. This will be followed by three panel discussions on various topics. Pleas see Schedule below.
