Four of these centers will be located in Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Karnataka, with the fifth center’s location yet to be determined. More emphasis us being placed on the research and development of biopolymers and biodegradable polymers, as well as new packaging materials. According to The New Indian Express, if such centers are successful, they will be integrated into other Cipet institutes across India.
