A construction site has been selected for the Brahmapuram WtE project, which is developed by GJ Nature Care Consortium on behalf of the Kochi Municipal Corporation (KMC), Kerala. As announced by The New Indian Express, the INR 2.95 billion facility will be set up near an existing KMC waste treatment site. The plant is planned to treat around 400 tpd of waste. GJ claims that it will be able to complete it within 23 months. The project is organised under a DBFOT (design, build, finance, operate and transfer) scheme.
