Contract signed for Agra WtE project

The Agra Municipal Corporation (AMC) has reportedly signed a formal contract with consortium Spaak Bresson Private Limited (SBPL), its partner for the Agra WtE project. As said, the proposed plant will have a treatment capacity of more than 500 tpd, generating around 10 MW of electricity. It should be located near AMC’s Kuberpur landfill site, according to The Times of India. Additionally, it was stated that plant construction will last around 18 months. However, the plans have yet to be cleared by the central government.
