Countdown to CII’s Waste to Worth Conference begins

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has that announced Prof Vijay Raghavan, Principal Scientific Advisor (PSA), GoI and Mr. R.P Gupta, Secretary, MoEF&CC will be addressing the inaugural session of its International Waste to Worth conference on the morning of October 30, 2020.

CII, in association with the Technology Development Board, GoI and supported by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) is organizing the Conference on October 30. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Achieving circular economy through innovative 3R techniques’.

As reported earlier on SWI, the Conference Agenda includes discussions related to a ‘glocal’ model of SWM, waste management strategies by Industry, latest innovations in waste management and leveraging technology.

A large number of delegates from the waste sector, including corporates, ULBs, and NGOs are expected to attend this online event, which will be accompanied by a virtual exhibition for 10 days enabling sponsors to connect with attendees who can network with each other through chat, sms, or email.
