Ecogreen to file daily status report to Lucknow Mayor’s office

Eco-Green Energy Pvt Ltd, hired by the Lucknow Municipal Corporation for door-to-door waste collection, will now have to submit daily status reports to the office of city mayor.

The company has also been asked to ensure timely collection of garbage from secondary collection points and shift them to waste treatment plant before 2 pm each day. the Mayor has also asked the concerned officials to ensure that faulty compactors are repaired and the coverage of door-to-door garbage collection is increased. The Mayor said she would conduct surprise inspection of various wards, reports The Times of India.
