Ecogreen wins WtE project tender in Haryana

Indian company Ecogreen Energy has won the tender for the contract of Haryana’s first Integrated Solid Waste Management Project until 2039. According to The Statesman, the project should include the segregation, transport and conversion of waste into energy. It should have a capacity of 100 MWel and is to be constructed in Gurugram, Haryana, by June 2019. The project will cost around INR 4.3 billion (EUR 55 million). Ecogreen Energy, a waste management and a Waste-to-Energy company in India, is an ultimate subsidiary of China Jinjiang Environment Holding Company Limited (CJE).
