Essel to proceed with WtE project despite financial woes

According to The Times of India, Essel Infraprojects Private Ltd has assured Nagpur Municipal Corporation that the planned 11.5 MW WtE facility is on schedule, despite the company’s financial hardships. Essel Private has secured a loan for the project from Power Finance Corporation Ltd. The company now has 15 days to begin works at the proposed site and commission the facility by January 2020, which will be capable of processing 800 tonnes of waste daily.
