Failure of plan to build AD plant in Dadar

According to The Asian Age, plans to build a plant using wet waste from a flower market in Dadar, Mumbai City, have failed. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) sewage department have not agreed to provide the land for the project, which was planned by BMC’s environment department. BMC is now looking for an alternative location. The plant is expected to process 10 tonnes of wet waste from the Meenatai Thackeray Flower Market to generate 800 units of electricity daily.
