Funding demanded for 12 biogas projects in Lalitpur

Local governments in Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh, demand about INR 90 million (EUR 10.1 million) from the state government for development works in the fiscal year 2024-25, including proposals for 12 so-called Govardhan plants.

The plants should process cow manure to produce biogas. Currently, a Govardhan plant serves as a model in Kari Pahari, Madhya Pradesh. An action plan was sent to the state government. Further information has not been provided in the source.
