The lieutenant governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has asked the Delhi’s municipal corporations to produce new time schedules for their proposed WtE projects. WtE plants developed on behalf of the North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) and the East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) are currently under construction in Bawana and Ghazipur, while the North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) is planning a WtE facility in Bhalswa. All these projects were said to be behind their original schedules, as further stated by the Hindustan Times.
