Gurgaon and Faridabad consider WtE implementation

According to The Times of India, the municipal authorities of Guragon and Faridabad, Haryana, are apparently considering to jointly set up a 10 MW WtE plant. The two municipalities are currently producing around 1,500 tpy of waste, which is disposed of at a landfill in Bandwhari. Furthermore, it was outlined that a potential WtE plant could be extended in 2035, when local waste generation is projected to have risen to 2,200 tpy. However, the source does not provide any information on the technology to be used.
