India joins International Energy Agency

According to The Asian Age, India’s government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stated last week that they expect to save around USD 6.3 billion in energy costs in the future due to the successful employment of WtE solutions in their country. Moreover, India has recently joined the Paris-based International Energy Agency (IEA), as was celebrated during an official ceremony on Thursday, March 30th, 2017. It is to be expected that India’s energy demand will even outrun China’s in coming years. Which is why the government is currently trying to pave the way for India to become a global player in the global energy market.
