Indore plays host to SBM team

A 13-person team of administrative officers from the Swachh Bharat Mission visited Indore to learn about the city’s Solid Waste Management system. The team also included representatives from Aligarh, Jhansi, Vrindavan, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Farrukhabad, Kushinagar, and Etawah in Uttar Pradesh.

The Indore Municipal Corporation briefed the team about its SWM efforts, including door-to-door waste collection, six-bin segregation, the garbage transfer station, the plant at the Devguradia trenching site, a CNG plant, a waste processing plant, the ICCC command centre, among other things, reports Free Press Journal.
