IVL receives financing for PET recycling plants

Bangkok-based plastics and packaging materials producer Indorama Ventures Public Co. Ltd. (IVL) has received a USD 200 million (EUR 186.7 million) loan from the International Finance Corporation (IFC). According to the source, the funding should help IVL to expand its PET recycling capacities.

As further stated, the financing should be used to increase efficiency at the company’s existing recycling plants in Nakhon Pathom and Rayong in Thailand, as well as to commission a PET recycling plant in Karawang, Indonesia, and to build new PET recycling plants in India.
