Jawaharnagar WtE facility to be expanded

The Hyderabad State Minister for Municipal Administration & Urban Development has announced plans for an expansion of the Waste to Energy plant in Jawaharnagar, Hyderabad.

The plant’s capacity is reportedly expected to increase from currently 20 MWel to 100 MWel. As further stated, there is also another plant with a capacity of 28 MWel being set up at a cost of INR 5.5 billion (EUR 61.06 million).
