Kasba Bawda WtE plant commences operations

As the Times of India reported, the Kasba Bawda WtE plant has commenced its first stage of operations, where waste is only being processed into RDF. Full operation of the plant will commence after experts have carried out a technical verification of the facility. It has the capacity to process about 200 tpd of waste into energy. The construction of the plant began in 2013 on a build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis, by Kolhapur Green Energy Private Limited.
