Kashmir High Court constitutes committee to oversee SWM

The Kashmir State High Court has constituted a three-member committee to oversee the functioning of Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) and other municipal committees of all districts of Kashmir division with regard to managing and treating solid waste generated from different sources in the Valley in accordance with the law.

All districts of the Kashmir division have also been ordered to make effective suggestions on management of the waste, according to the Daily Excelsior.
