KKR acquires 60% share of Ramky Enviro

American financial investor KKR is acquiring a 60 % share of India-based waste management company Ramky Enviro Engineers, reports the Economic Times. The deal is worth USD 600 million. Ramky Enviro is valued at USD 1 billion and closed the 2017 financial year with a total turnover of USD 231 million. Ramky is currently constructing the 20 MWel WtE project in Jawaharnagar and is involved in several other WtE projects in India.
