Kozhikode plastic recycling plant could restart operations

Clean Kerala Company, an Indian agency that assures hygiene management in the state of Kerala, is to take over the West Hill plastic waste recycling plant from Kozhikode Municipal Corporation. However, no contracts have been signed yet and operations are not expected to start until old accumulated waste is removed from the site. As was reported by The Hindu, the plant was closed in October 2015 as the former contractor declared it not to be profitable.
