Land acquisition completed for Galand WtE plant

The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has completely acquired the 35 acres of land required for establishing the Galand WtE plant. As reported earlier, the plant is planned to have the capacity to treat about 1,200 tpd of waste for generating 15 MW. Commencement of plant construction is yet to be announced, according to the Times of India.
