According to Nyoooz, the state government of Maharashtra has finally allocated the land for the Bhandewadi WtE project. The companies behind the project, Essel Infrastructure and Hitachi Zosen Inova, have officially received the land. The firms will pay an annual lease for this property over the course of the next 15 years. Construction works for the respective WtE project have not yet started, but are expected to commence soon.
