Land allocated for Delhi integrated waste management facility

Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has allocated a 42.5 acres in Ghonda Gujran to East Delhi Municipal Corporation for establishing an integrated waste management facility, as was reported by the Hindustan Times. The facility will include a WtE plant, a biomethanation plant and a construction and demolition debris processing plant. The allocated land has caused protests over environmental concerns.
