MAHAPREIT and TTCWMA sign MOU for a Centre for Waste Excellence in Navi Mumbai

Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Ltd (MAHAPREIT), a subsidiary of Mahatma Phule Backward Class Development Corporation, Ministry of Social Justice, Govt. of Maharashtra, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoU) with Trans Thane Creek Waste Management Association (TTCWMA) based out of Mahape, Navi Mumbai and Theistic Business Consultants from Mumbai.

MAHAPREIT is in partnership with Central Govt, State Govt. departments, and various Municipal corporations by engaging various stakeholders through partnership and creating revenue models, and extend the benefits for social inclusion of SC beneficiaries. MAHAPREIT has developed solutions for Urban problems related to Municipal solid waste management, wastewater treatment, STP, and other solutions.

This MoU and our partnership with TTCWMA and Theistic will develop a roadmap toward establishing a one-of-a-kind center on Environment. We will work with all the stakeholders to create successful outcomes benefiting the society.” Bipin Shrimali, Chairman and Managing Director, MAHAPREIT.

The Center of Excellence on Environment is proposed to be one of a kind Global center that will develop various initiatives focusing on Waste Management technologies, support R&D in the sector and collaborate with Technology companies for setting up a showcase of successful technologies in the sector.
