Moshi WtE plant started commercial production

India-based Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd has started commercial power sale from the Moshi WtE plant in Pune, Maharashtra, which was opened in August 2023. This is according to a recent news report.

The plant can process up to 1,000 tpd or 250,000 tpy of waste and has a 14 MW power production capacity. Initially, the plant is to supply 8 MW to the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. Until the end of the current financial year, the power sale is to reach 11.76 MW.
