In a major effort to reduce waste contamination and promote greener cities, 14 more Madhya Pradesh districts will construct bio-remediation facilities. The projects are estimated to cost roughly Rs 44 crore. “Bio-remediation will be used to remediate a former trash dump site. Long-term, the land will be reclaimed, and all fresh trash would be disposed of in a scientific manner, according to The Times of India.
Experts claim that the current landfill procedure pollutes the soil and the groundwater. The effects on water resources, agriculture, and health are also significant. Hazardous toxic wastes will also be treated by recycling, composting, or any other type of environmental treatment.
