Nestlé India has announced plans to install nearly 70 large biodigesters and over 3,000 small biodigesters in 24 districts across Punjab and Haryana.
The larger agricultural AD facilities should convert cattle manure into biogas for electricity production. According to the source, the small-sized facilities are planned to replace LPG and fuel wood with their production.
