New AD plant considered for Bareilly

The Bareilly Municipal Corporation (BMC), Uttar Pradesh, plans an AD plant using animal dung from stray and pet animals, according to The Times of India. While a pilot project is already being planned, the location remains unclear. The size of the planned AD plant will depend on the results of a survey reporting the accumulated animal dung in Bareilly. Relying on the study, BMC expects to generate 1 MW from 200 metric tons of dung.
