A new biogas plant should be set up in Bachhaipur, Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. The project is being developed under the Swachh Bharat Mission scheme.
The plant should cost INR 2.5 million (EUR 29,400). Once completed, it should be supplied with cow manure from surrounding cow shelters to produce biogas for the village pipeline, as further reported.
