A 20 tpd biowaste AD plant is to be built at the Kaithalapur Transfer Station in Hyderabad, Telangana. Led by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), it entails an estimated investment of INR 40 million (EUR 484,000). HAL has submitted a draft MoU to the GHMC.

The company also requested that the CNG to be produced at the site will be supplied to Swachh autos free of cost and that the digestate should be used at livestock nurseries and sent to farmers, also free of cost.

As further reported, once approval from the GHMC Standing Committee is secured, the tenders would be invited.
