After several delays, a new construction and demolition plant will come up at Dhandari Kalan area. Built at the cost of approximately Rs 7.90 crore under the smart city mission.
Request for proposal (RFP) for the project is being prepared at the state level. As per the officials, similar projects are being taken up in Amritsar and Jalandhar and the tenders for the same would be floated by the state government.
MC superintending engineer Rahul Gagneja informed The Hindustan Times that the tenders for the project will be floated in a week.
