As reported by The Hans India, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has started operations of its new construction and demolition (C&D) waste recycling plant. GHMC has recently entered a 10-year operations contract with company MSW for the 500 tpd plant. The source claimed that the facility, which is located in the suburb of Borabanda, would be the second C&D waste recycling plant in the country. Further, Hyderabad’s C&D waste volumes were said to amount to 400 tpd.
