New C&D waste recycling plant inaugurated in Jahangirpuri

The Chief Minister of Delhi has inaugurated a C&D waste recycling facility in Jahangirpuri, Delhi. The plant is expected to process 2,000 tpd on an area of 7 acres. Waste collected from across Delhi is to be processed into tiles, bricks, and other products.

According to the City Government, Delhi produces 6,500 tpd of C&D waste. To recycle this amount, another three C&D waste recycling plants are planned in the districts of Ranikhera, Shastri Park, and Bakkarwala. Information on the investment cost of the project was not provided by the source.
