The proposed C&D waste recycling plant in Nashik, Maharashtra, is now scheduled to become operational within 6 months.

A corresponding deadline was set by the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC). The NMC also identified a site adjacent to an existing civic compost plant in Pathardi, according to the report.

Earlier plans provided for the construction in Makhmalabad but this plan was facing strong opposition by residents.
