At a legacy waste remediation project in Panaji, around 14,000 m³ of RDF have been produced so far.

The RDF production was set up by the Goa Waste Management Corporation (GWMC) at the Sonsoddo waste lot, as further reported. The same amount of RDF will likely be produced in the following months, as only half of the waste has yet been treated.

The RDF is used for co-incineration in cement production.
